LEON ACKERMANN
Leon joined the firm in 2004, having been
previously employed as a solicitor in Brisbane following his admission as a solicitor in
Queensland in 2001.
He obtained the degrees of Bachelor of Arts (1987), Bachelor of
Laws (1990) and master of Laws (1993) at the University of
Capetown.
He was admitted as an Advocate (Barrister) in South Africa in
1994, and as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 1997. He has worked
primarily in criminal law for approximately eight years. His
experience includes appearing as a Solicitor Advocate in the
Magistrates Court, District and Supreme Courts, and instructing
Counsel in those Courts as well as support Appeal.
Leon Brings to the firm a wealth of experience in various types
of criminal law matters, varying from simple traffic offences
through to complex criminal cases such as fraud, robbery, rape and
murder. Without doubt, the substantial skill that Leon brings to
this firm is his advocacy, an attribute that is encouraged in all of
the professional staff of the firm. |
