Bribery and Corruption
It is a crime to offer someone a bribe or undue reward. It does not have to involve a bribe of money, it may be a reward of some other property or an inducement for a person to act in a certain way.
If you accept the gift or reward which is given to you in order to convince you to act dishonestly or corruptly, you are also committing an offence.
Corrupt conduct in business dealings or dealings with members of public office can be caught by both state and federal legislation depending on the nature of the conduct.
